Error importing contacts from Outlook 2007

On one computer I am not able to successfully import my Outlook contacts
into Windows Mail.
When I start the import of the CSV file a few contacts are imported and then
the process stops. There is a message "an error occurred importing
contacts".
I tried a different set of contacts with the same result.
Is something damaged? The same CSV file imports into a second Vista system
with no problem.

I have had the same problem with my main contact book, but I found my
smallerr group contacts completed the import - albeit with one or two data
entries missing for some contacts
