Error!!!!!!!! Help Me Out Please!

it doesn't allow me to play the game. it shows the intro and then a pop up comes up and exits out of Rise of Nations and says gathering exception data. Then the error comes up. what's up?
 
It says nation.exe. My computer is a window me. I'm not great with computers so can u tell me what u mean.

the error says this.

Rise of Nations has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience. If you were int the middle of something, the information you were working on might be lost
Then it says to tell microsoft about the problem.
Th error signature is this:
AppName: nations.exe AppVer: 1.13.4.1801 ModName: d3dgl.dll
ModVer: 1.13.4.1801 Offset: 000122c6

if you can download and run this program, the i may be able to verify this

unfortunately your graphics falls just short of the minimum system spec to play the game, the game requires 16MB and you have 11MB

the rest of your PC is fine, it just doesn't have enough graphics memory which is what is causing the error
 
im gonna assume you dont intend to play some of the high end games like doom 3, correct ?, so your not going to need much in the way of a graphics card, im hoping you have an AGP port, download this extract and run 'CPUZ', under the mainboard tab it will say graphical interface type and revision, what are they ?

if you have one then you can get the first one in the list
