Error: function is not available in expressions in query expression

I developed an application with several complex queries
on one computer and they all work fine. But when tring to
run the queries on another computer I get the following
error "Function is not available in expressions in query
expression (& name of function)".

I am running an IIf statement (Access function) as the
expression, which is returning the error.

Please help.
