Error: Failed 0x80508026 Windows defender cannot remove a potentia

Failed 0x80508026 Windows defender cannot remove a potentially harmful item
from the contents of an archived file

I am receiving this error on an item called Grokster. I have searched my
hard drive and cannot find the file. On searching the web I was lead to the
site that said my IP address has now been flagged as the site was for illegal
file sharing (music, etc.).

Two questions:
1. How could this have gotten on my PC if I don't do any file sharing and
never visited the site before?
2. How do I remove this if Windows Defender can't get the file off?

Thank you Engel, I have never visited or downloaded Grokster, Imesh, Kazaa or
any of those others. I don't swap or download pirated products. The
downloads I have done have been Microsoft Project or Office Templates from MS
Templates and some project related templates from ZDNet.

Thank you for the link to siteadvisor and elephantboycomputers I am heading
there now.

I do appreciate the your taking the time to provide me the support. I do not
have an MCSE certification but provide tech support free to non-profits where
I volunteer and advice from people like you goes along way in helping me to
do that. What I learn from handling this will be used to check a few of those
computers next week!
