What is a CMC session?
The file WMPDXM.DLL has to do with Winbdows Media Player 9.
Try to uninstall Windows Media Player 9 from add/remove programs. If you are
unable to do so then follow the steps below:
1. Click Start, click Run, type command and click OK
2. In the MS-DOS prompt window, type the following command (exactly, do not
even
add a space) and press Enter:
rundll32.exe setupapi,InstallHinfSection uninstall 132
c:\windows\inf\wmp.inf
Note: I am assuming the wmp.inf file is stored in the c:\windows\inf folder.
The
command is case sensitive.
3. Restart the computer.
4. Empty the folder "C:\Program Files\Windows Media Player".
5. Download and install WMP 7.1.

I lost my CMC sessions so I re-installed my Windows ME. After a day of
great struggle - I have finally beat the beast and have Windows ME and
access to the Internet, however I cannot open anything else on my computer.
Everytime I try to get into anything except OutLook Express or MSN I get:
Explorer has caused an error - WMPDXM.DLL and it shuts me down. Can anyone
help? It has taken me over a week to figure out how to get my CMC sessions
back and now I cannot even check to see if it worked because I cannot open
anything!
