Hi,
I tried to install vista, but once the installation reaches the point where
it needs to restart the system, I get a blue error screen when the computer
restarts. It tells be the verification of a known DDL failed and gives me the
number c000021A. I ran the install so I can choose which operating system i
want to run at start up. This is the reason I still have XP. Any ideas?

My system:
XP Pro service pack 2
AMD FX-53
1 GB Ram
140 GB hard drive with 10 GB partitioned for Vista

Your 10GB partition is too small. I think the
absolute minimum is 15GB, but you should
probably go for about 25-30GB.

What chipset are you running?

AMD-FX-60
2gb OCZ Plat. memory
ATI 1800 AIW
2x74gb Raptors in RAID-0
2x400gb WD HDD in RAID-1

My motherboard is an ABIT AV8 socket 939 k8 and the chipset is VIA K8T800
Pro/ VT8237. I hope all that info makes sense. Any ideas? It seems like
something is not going with the windows install because of that fatal error I
keep getting.
