I am running Windows ME on a Intel Pentium 4 Dell.
While downloading the MS03-026 security patch from
http://www.microsoft.com/security/incident/blast.asp I
encounter the following two error messages which abort the
download:
1) Titled: Error starting program
Message: The Windows2000-KB823980-X86-ENU[1].exe file is
linked to missing export NTDLL.DLL:NtShutdownSystem
2) Titled: "C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5
\KLAF0L2N\Windows2000-KB8239080-x86-ENU[1].exe
Message: Windows cannot access the specified device, path,
or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to
access the item.
