error Demoting DC from W2K Domain

Hi,

I have problems demoting AC from the DC receining the
error SRV02$ account can not be created (at the last step
of the demoting). I run dcpromo under the account with
EntAdm rights.
Any suggestions?

More then likely this is a DNS issue. Keep in mind, that all machines must
only use the internal DNS server. That's how it finds other AD services and
resources to be able to communicate and conduct other domain functionality,
such as what you're trying to do. If you use an ISP's in any machines' IP
properties, then numerous errors can occur.

However, you can force demotion. See this:
