error:could not find installable ISAM, what is the cause?

Hi all
when I connected my database to contact form, I am getting the following error
could not find installable ISAM, what is the cause

I have access to a certain folder in the network. the database is in that folde

I'm not sure. The only thing I can think of is to repair the installation
and look over the options for installation to make sure everything is
installed for running from the local hard drive.

I checked on my computer and msexch40.dll

version(4.0.6807.0) is on my \windows\system32 and there is proper reference
in the registry. I reinstalled MS Office 2002 and still it is giving the
same error?
