error copying file

I have an error occurred copying file a09jbip5.sys to
C:\$WIN_NT$~BT\a09jbip5.sys. How do I resolve this issue without
formatting?

What does the error state? And why do you think a workaround might be
to format?
 
google doesnt show anything for a file of this name, other than your post.

What AV are you trying to install, one supplied by BT?
