Been getting a stop error (stop 0x0000001E) after trying
to do critical updates to SP4. Can only get into Safe
Mode. Anyway, I can't find the file MS claims defines the
parameters (ntstatus.h file), so I can't figure out where
the conflict is.

STOP 1Es are generally kernel mode driver faults and a very generic in terms
of the bugcheck code, meaning that there is nothing in the .h file that will
tell you what is causing the problem. Uninstall the SP, reboot the machine
normally and see if it comes up, then reinstall SP4 without any AV ro third
party applications running.

Found the conflict. re-booted without the wireless
network card and got into last known config. re-installed
OS "things", made sure they worked, then re-installed
network card. Still don't know where to actually find
the .h file had it any use. Did searches etc, but to no
avail. Thanks for the advice though.
