i got this message when i try to activate my windows vista home premium, "
code error 0XC004C015 the activation server experienced an error"

I just received the Business DVD from my school and installed it on my laptop
today. I am getting the same error. It must be related to their activation
server. Guess we'll wait and see?

Same error on Home Premium.

Apologies if I am not using this facility properly but all this is new to
me. The error code above has arisen in my case and I draw a blank from the
online help system. Can anyone advice on how to follow through the activation
process?

Code: 0XC004C015
Description: The activation server experienced an error.

My Experience:
Used Clean/Sealed OEM Windows Vista Ultimate. Clean Install. Super Fast
System. All Bios Updates. Unable to Activate Windows Vista. Tried from 11:00
PM PST to 1:30 PM PST. Server might be down. This is not good
support/knowledge base; no information obtained. I'm assuming you're in the
same situation. LOL.

I am getting this also, Error 0xC004C015. Home Premium upgrade. No telephone
number and when I managed to get an automated system it asked for a six digit
number, don't know where it is, I have 5 and 3 and 7 digit numbers.
Technical people were unable to help and suggested I uninstall and reinstall
(as if I haven't about 15 times already).

same here, 2 different vista ultimate editions on 2 different pc's, on both i
get this error message, does someone from microsoft read this?

I also was getting this error last night. Called and got bounced around
between customer service and technical support. They said they'd call me
tonight after they research a resolution.

This morning, however, I tried again and now I'm getting a different error
0x80072EE2.

I think there's something wrong with their activation servers. I had no
problems with activation prior to this (I just re-installed Vista due to some
other issues). It's just too coincidental that a bunch of people are suddenly
getting this error and there's no prior posts about this.

Hello
This should be working now:
There were server issues.
Thanks,
