Error Code 0x80070643 in Defender Final... come on...

Come on guys, if you're going to release it, it should work on NEW
computers. I think it might have something to do with my school network, but
I also kind of doubt it cuz it didn't work at home either.

Is this the same "diskette" error I was getting before with Beta 2?

This is not a good program if people are having this issue.

This is only a hunch, but do you use a 3rd Party registry cleaner on your
computers? Your error code is indicative of an installer error whereby the
installer is aware there's been a previous version installed of the software
you're trying to install, but can't find information about it's installation
in the registry. Try uninstalling Defender Beta through Add/Remove, before
running the new installer for Defender Final. Next, if that doesn't work,
try the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility , found here:

Have the CleanUp Utility remove (only!) installation references to Windows
Defender. I think there are two. Then, again, try to install the latest
Defender.
