Error Checking

Error Checking won't run. It asks me if I want to restart
my computer and run it at startup and then I say yes and
then I restart and nothing happens. Please help as this
is a critical issue.
 
I assume you mean chkdsk? See if you can run it from Safe Mode. Boot the
system, start tapping F8, at the menu select Safe Mode and press enter.
