When I click View > Design View from the menu I get this
error:

Microsoft Access can't run the macro or callback
function 'fDesign'.

Make sure the macro or function exists and takes
the correct parameters.

I click OK and the message goes away. I can open forms in
design view only from within the database window.

I completely reinstalled Access and I'm still getting the
problem. I found a couple references to this error on the
web but no solution or cause.

Any idea?

Hi Kurt,

The problem stems from importing a menu bar/toolbar from
one of Sensei Stephen Lebans' download files.

The easiest thing to do (assuming you have not made any
modications to the Standard Access Meunbars/Toolbars) is
to follow these steps:

1. Right-click on the top menu bar and select Customize.

2. On the tab that says "Customize" there is a list of all
the menu bars/toolbars. Check one at a time, and hit the
button that says "Reset."

3. This will reset all the menu bars/toolbars back to
their standard layout.

That should fix it.
