I have used the Custom Installation Wizard to customize MS Office install
(using cached mode and .ost and .pst files). I am getting the following error
"Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Unable to open the Outlook window. The set
of folders could not be opened. The server is not available. Contact your
administrator if this condition persists". (There is article 822503 that
shows this error). I have changed page 10 of 24 - where I had pst settings
and did not specify a name. I have changed the location of the .ost file to
c:
I can manually fix the issue by going into control panel, mail, e-mail
accounts, view or change existing e-mail accounts, Next, I highlight my
Exchange server, click Change, then click on More settings button, go to the
Advanced Tab, then click on Offline Folder File Settings.... - it does not
seem to resolve the %USERNAME% or %USERPROFILE% - if I click on browse and
then select a location - it then works.
