Error -- Cannot Run Two Device Installations

Last week at the main office I was installing a printer ... someone came by
and unplugged the printer to plug into thier system; I later took the
installation diskette out of the CD drive on this IMB Laptop.

I am now unable to get the Hardware Wizard to start, as the syetm in "in the
process of installing another device.

I have tried many things, including deleting items via Task Manager. Thus
far I am unsucessful with everything tried. I am working on my home computer
since I cannot install the modem to get the office system connected to the
Internet or perform anything which requires new hardware to begin.

Can anyone give me ideas? I am not familar with these types of groups --
please accept my apology for being so wordy.
