I replaced my power supply recently, and to the best of my knowledge, I
hooked up all the wires....but, apparently not. When I went to reboot, I
received the error message I mentioned above. Any ideas?? Windows XP, Compac
Presario
Thanks,
Brian

You're in the wrong newsgroup. This one is for Vista issues. Besides this
is not an OS issue. It's a hardware issue. Post to the XP hardware group
or some other hardware group.

Undo what you did and start again. Take the PC to a repair man. Not a
Windows problem.

Enter your computers BIOS and make sure that the drive that actually has
the operating system on it is the first one in the HD boot order and
that the basic boot menu does, indeed, contain "hard drive" on it's list.
