Hello,

I have a Windows 2000 Advanced server, running active
directory. Recently I enabled Terminal Service for Remote
Desktop Connection. After doing this when I go to Active
directory users and computers, I get an error message.
Naming information cannot be locate because : Library is
not registered. I tried to open add remove programmes, it
shows blank.

Also I would like to take a back of my active directory
users, profile ( all are using roaming profile ). Or I
would like install another system and promote that as
active directory domain so that users can work without any
problem.

I will be very happy if somone can help me in this regard.

Thanks & Regards

George

Try reinstalling the administrative tools by running adminpak.msi to fix the
problem opening AD users and computers.

To backup AD and user profiles you will need to backup the system state and
the directory the the user profiles are stored in.
