Hi...
A li'l help would be cool on this one
I have 3 profiles on my machine, 1 admin and 2 limited. Everytime I right
click on any file or folder the limited profiles and select properties, I get
the following error:
Error:
There was an error accessing registry. Be sure you have necessary privileges.
I click OK but the message instantly pops back up, I clicking ok a dozen
times before the Properties box finally comes up.
I have scanned for viruses using a fully updated NOD32 and all is clean. No
spyware probs either.
The problem doesn't happen when I change the accounts to Admin but I don't
want to do that full time for obvious reasons.
I have tried creating new limited accounts just incase there is a corrupted
system file on the accounts but the same error pops up.
I suspect the problem may be related to a program I recently installed
called febooti File Tweak which can change the system attributes of files and
folders from the right click Properties box...maybe it doesn't like limited
accounts???? I have tried giving both limited accounts full rights to the
installation directory but it didn't fix the problem.
Is anyone able to suggest anything to resolve the problem??
Thanks
Nick
