error accessing Last & First records

I built custom made command buttons, in order to navigate to previews/next
record.

if i am currently in the first record, and I choose the Previews command
button, I get an error message saying "I can't access that record"

How can I disable the Previews command button when I am currently in the
first record, and the same for the last record... disable the next record
command button when I am in the last record?
