Dave

I have a problem accessing a web page.
It works on my 2nd computer and all the computers at work.
Just not this one.
I dont know if there is a setting that needs changed or
what.
The web page is Abit Motherboards ERMA web Page.
The page that it is on is.
http://www.abit-usa.com/services/rma/
Then you pick the eRMA Button.
Then it tries to access the page
http://12.108.181.222/cws/c5launch.dll/webrma/erma.exe.0
Then I get the following error.
Cannot find server
The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable.
The Web site might be experiencing technical
difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser
settings.
If I go over to my other computer it works fine

Can Anyone help me here with this?
Is it just a setting?

Using Windows XP
Thanks

Did you check for any spyware ?
Check to see if yahoo.com is pointing at localhost on the hosts file

Yes I tried it according to Microsoft Knowledge Base
Article - 154036
It did not work.
Is there another way to disable it - Did I do it wrong?

Thanks

Rather than disable Active Scripting I would make it a Prompt
and use the prompt as a diagnostic. For example, your description
so far doesn't tell us if clicking the eRMA button launches a popup
window. Try being more precise about reporting your observations.

FWIW here is what I see (and what I assume you see on the machines
which are working):
- mouse over eRMA button in first page puts erma.exe.0 link
in Status bar. (That much you already told us so I'm being brief.)
- clicking on the button launches a new window
Titled: ABSM - RMA Service Web Application v1.27r1
Address: http://12.108.181.222/cws/c5launch.dll?4395D77/ERMA.html
That hex string appears to change with each use so you should consider
it just an example.
- Prompt: Scripts are usually safe... (Active Scripting prompt)
- Allowing the prompt (clicking Yes) finishes rendering the window
which then appears to have 4 buttons, only 2 of which are important
to the application and both of which are implemented using standard
HTML.

Did you get that far? Do you get a prompt? Did you get a new window?
Did you get something loading in the old window?

Since it sounds as if your problem involves the latter case
make sure you temporarily remove any third-party toolbars
such as the ones from Google or Yahoo. Also avoid using
any popup window suppressors.
