Every time I start burning a cd, after 2 or 3 songs it
runs into an error and closes the disk. I tried deleting
the song that has the error, re burning it, but the same
problem comes up with a different song. Is this a virus?
How do I correct this problem?

I'm not an expert, but a couple of questions I are:
1. Are you having this problem only with one CD, or with all of them? If
it's just that CD, it may have errors, or some protection mechanism that is
preventing you from copying it.
2. Have you been to Windows Update lately. You might try going there
(http://v4.windowsupdate.microsoft.com/en/default.asp) to see if there are
any driver or Media Player updates that you can download. If so, they may
correct the problem.

I've been searching for a solution to your error at microsoft.com and found
the following explanation:

VFW_E_BADALIGN An invalid alignment was specified. 0x8004020E 526

Appartenly, the error is associated with the DirectX technology known as
DirectShow. That's all I know so far, and I haven't located a solution. I'm
still searching the Microsoft Knowledge Base and Support sites. You could
try this as well. Let me know how things go.
