Error 797

When I click on an icon to go to most program's I get an
error that the program has caused an error and must shut
down. How do I remedy this problem. I didn't have this
problem before I upgraded to "XP" from "ME". Why am I
having this problem now?

Leonard,

Some software only runs under Windows ME - it may have been written to
use code that does stuff that XP won't permit. One of the reasons why
XP is more stable (yes it is, when used properly) than ME or 9x is
that it is more anal in how programs manage system resources.

Maybe the manufacturers of the software can help you get it running?
Did you contact them for help?

You might have installed something on your system without knowing it
too. Check for spyware - start here (free software):
