I have a remote site w/ 2 users. One is wireless. They use XP and VPN into
my network SBS2K.

They both have staitic ip addresses on their ntwk 192.168.9.9X.

The hardwired PC can get in almost all the time. But the wireless PC can't.

It also seems that only one user can be on the VPN at a time.

The original pool on my server
of IP addresses for remote access for them was 192.168.1.1 - 192.168.1.255.
I thought that their network may have this pool also since it seems to be
the default.

Therefore, I changed it to 192.168.15.1 - 192.168.15.255.

Their VPN connection is set to automatically obtain IP addresses.

The wireless PC was on this morning then the other PC (wired) logged on and
knocked the wireless off the VPN.

Now for some reason the wireless is getting an Error 721 server not
responding when they try to logon.

She shutdown and restarted the wireless, but still gets the same error.

Any Ideas?

Can you check if the wireless is reaching the VPN server at all? Also,
enable logging and provide the traces generated (under
%windir%\tracing\ppp.log) to see if there is anything of interest happening.

Hi I think your problem could be if you have a linksys router in front
of the VPN server. Certain LINKSYS routers will not allow more than one
connection at a time to the VPN server. Call LINKSYS to see if your
model is one of them
