Error 623 Cannot find the phone book entry.

To All,

I'm having a strange problem with connecting to a VPN server, it gets to the
verifying username and password part of the connection, but after that i get
the following error message:

Error 623 Cannot find the phone book entry for ths connection.

Everything i have found on this error on the net relates to Windows 98/ME
and i'm using Windows 2000 server with service pack 4.

Can anyone please help me on this issue.

Are initiating a RAS connection or DMD (Dial on Demand)?

its just a standard VPN connection so i guess it would be RAS
