Error 50? What to do?

I am running into a problem on my clustered servers. I
have 2 servers with 4 gb each and they are sharing the
load with one doing file shares and the other hosting
roaming profiles. All the sudden I started receiving
error 50 & 51 in the log files on one of the boxes and
eventually that box would failover and everything one be
running on one of the boxes. I did a chkdsk /r on that
shared drive that was apparently causing problems and it
seemed to fix the problem. Then the other share started
doing the same thing. I ran the same fix and it seemed
to fix the problem there too. It has been running fine
for almost 6 weeks and now they are returning again. I
am wondering if maybe my problem has anything to do with
the fact that I have 4 gb of physical ram on both boxes
and only 5 gb of page files between both c and d drive
partitions? Is that possible? the only reason I mention
this is because the error 50 says an error occured during
a paging operation and then everything goes downl\hill
from there after about 2 dozen of these errors in the
log. This problem is driving me crazy and causing a lot
of long nights try to troubleshoot this problem and
thought it was fixed and now it is back.

Any suggestions are appreciated.

Thanks,
Paul

BTW, I have run DiskKeeper and run the smart defrag so
the drives are not fragmented as far as I can tell.
