Error 3197

"The Microsoft Jet database engine stopped the process because you and
another user are attempting to change the same data at the same time. (Error
3197)" is the error message I got last night when I was typing information
into the form of my database.... problem is.... there is no other user!!!
It's just me. I can't do anything to my forms now... my files are locked!!!
Every time I try to type in the form or the table I get that error message.
I have typed sooooooo much information into this thing- it's taken forever! I
can't afford to retype it all. :( Please please please how do I resolve
this????

Take a copy of the database. just in case. Then try a compact and repair.
Tools > Database utilities > compact and repair.

Thank you so much! When I click on the table, the error message does not come
up any more... woohoo \o/ I will try adding and editing files later (I'm
sick and need sleeeeeeeep). Thanks again!!!
