I have been entering data with a forms and tab subforms -
I had been entering data earlier in the day and things
were working fine, closed Access and when I opened it
again to enter data I get this error response fromt he
subform: "The chanes you requested to the table were not
successful becasue they would create duplicate values in
the index, primary key, or relationship. Change the data
in the field or fields that contain duplicate data, remove
the index, or redefine the index to permit duplicate
entries and try again." It is erroring on the table ID
number which is set as the primary key - of course set to
no duplicates allowed. I removed the relationships for
the table - saved it. Removed the primary key - saved
it. Closed Access. Powered down the computer and back up -
opened Access and reassigned the primary key and the
relationships - I get the same error - can some please
offer any assistance?

Sounds like the relationship between the two tables is one-to-one which will
cause an error as you described. Look at the relationships if both tables
have primary keys that don't allow duplicates that is what has to be
changed. This can also happen if the query behind the subform has a
relationship to a one-to-one table.
