Hi all,
When attempting to delete a record from within a
continuous subform I get the 'No Current Record' error.
To elaborate a little:
I have a main (data entry) form where users key data. If
the user selects a school (from a combobox) for which we
already have records, a separate form is opened to enable
them to amend, add or delete records for that particular
school only.
It's this second form that I'm having problems with. The
parent form just has the school details on it and the
subform has all the records that pertain to the school.
Why do I get a 'no current record' error? Is it the fact
that this form is in 'filtered' mode because it's only
displaying a single school?
I'm baffled - can you help?
With thanks,

Lee

If you are using Access 2002 with Service Pack 3, this is a bug. Just ignore
it, i.e. whatever event is giving you the error, you can trap the error
number and just ignore it.

I did that at one point but I get the problem I described
in my post below (dated 6/9/04 at 1.36pm) which no one has
replied to.
Aarrrghhh! ;-D

The "records disappear in subform" thread?
Never seen that behavior. Could be anything.

Yes...
Gee thanks! I feel so much better now.
What puzzles me is that it doesn't do this within the
first (data entry) form that I refer to below. Yet
they're both referring to the same record source, just
that one's filtered and modal and the other has data entry
set to yes.
Back to the drawing board I think....sniff

OK, thanks for the advice Allen.
I must admit the name autocorrect feature is new to me and
I shall certainly turn it off for future databases as well.

Lee
