Open the Immediate window (Ctrl+G), and enter:
? AccessError(2469)
Access responds:
The expression |2 you entered in the form control's ValidationRule property
contains the error |1.@Microsoft Office Access can't parse the
ValidationRule expression you entered. For example, if you enter the
expression =MyFunction() in the ValidationRule property, and the function
MyFunction doesn't exist, Microsoft Office Access displays the following
message:
Unknown function name in validation rule: 'MyFunction'.@To help you create
expressions as arguments in Visual Basic, use the Expression Builder. For
more information, search the Help index for 'Expression Builder'.@1@111805@1
Do you have any validation rule in the text box on your form, or in the
field of your table (lower pane of table design view)?
