Hi All
I have a Windows 2000 advance server with MS 2000 SQL server install.
Everything was running smoothly until a week or so ago, when one day I
couldn't open the (Services) window.
I got the msg below:
Error 234 more data is available
and the Services list is empty.
Today, I found that I couldn't start the SQL server, as if the login
password is wrong. I cannot open the services to change the password.
I read in more than one place that if I apply SP4 the problem might be
solved, but it did solve anything.
I also read that the entry:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanServer
\Parameters\NullSessionPipes
might have more than 32K in data, I reset that too, but still the same thing
happened!!
Any ideas at all???????
