I installed Corel Draw 11 on my machine over a year ago
without incident. Since then, I have done all the Windows
and Office updates faithfully as they've become
available. Had to re-install CD11 today, and cannot do
it. Gets to 75% of installation and hangs with Error
1933 - Windows Installer service cannot update one or more
protected Windows files. The file it's hanging on is not
resident on my machine anywhere! (CRLCTLIntl110.dll). The
installation then rolls back, and I get Error 1603 - Fatal
error during installation. The only thing I can think of
is that somewhere in all the Windows updates I've done, is
the culprit that won't let me re-install this software.
How can I find out which update it is and what is going on?
