Event 1656
NTDS
The diredtory was unable to find an RPC protocal sequence
installaed on this computer, failing with error 1719. The
directory service will be unable to repond to any RPC
request as long as this condition persist.

How do I fix this problem? What is the problem? I running
advance server from the moc books. I have setup my own
network. This error as been in the log file since the
service was installed.

Insight in this problem would greatly appreciated.

That error doesn;t come up in my search. My first thought is to make sure
you are only using your internal DNS servers and make sure that if there are
any ISP's DNS servers, to remove them and use a forwarder. Then restart the
netlogon service. That's usually the basics right there.

Are there any other errors in the Event log?

What OS is this?
