I am trying to install excel, version 2002 on a new
computer and I get an error message 1608. Please help.

Action: Installing Excel 2002
Result: 'Error 1608-Setup failed to locate qualifying product.'
Cause: Office/Excel 97/2000 are the only qualifying products for Excel 2002
stand alone upgrade. See the side of the box for details.

Resolution: Exchange the upgrade version of the product for a complete one
or get a refund either from the store or the Microsoft Refund Line at
888-673-8624.
