Error 1607

Hello,

I am trying to install a software on my laptop (Win 2000)
and I always get the following error:
1607: Unable to install InstallShield Scripting Runtime.
Is there a way to get around it and fix it ??

What program are you trying to install ??

Will it run under Windows 2000 ??

Did you contact the software manufacturer ??
 
It's works under win2k, my friend just installed the same
saoftware on his laptop. We have the same service pack
(4) and it works well on his machine...
 
Hello,
Try reinstalling InstallShield, available from the
Microsoft download section. If those does not resolve your
issue, consider visiting the software manufacturer's
website for any patches they may have available
