error 1606: can't acces network location

i get this error when trying to install software. i
lokked it up on ms support and my common administrative
registry entry is good. anyone else have any ideas?

Hi Bob,

Since you just want to install a game on your system, a workaround
would be to temporarily point your My Documents to a local drive:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;307683
after you install the game(s), just reverse the steps. Verify that the
saved games directory in My Documents \ My Games is recognised
by the game(s) after you complete the above process. Hope it helps!
