Download and run the Norton Removal Tool
http://service1.symantec.com/Support/tsgeninfo.nsf/docid/2005033108162039

Or:
Right click on the Key/Sub Key and take full control, also you can try the
removal in safe Mode.

I have tried deleting using the Norton tool but it won't let me proceed. Same
with right clicking on the key. I get the message - cannot open run. Error
while opening Run. As for trying the safe mode option, could you explain how
to do this as I am still a novice on these things. Your help is very much
appreciated.

Okay, Open the Key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run.
Right click on Run sub-folder and select Permissions under Export.
On the permissions settings for Run under the security Tab you will see
Group or user names.
Locate your profile account and Click on it to highlight it then on the Box
of the Permissions for HK say check the Allow in front of Full Control Check
Box:
Allow Deny
Full Control [ ] [ ]

Click [OK] then close the Registry editor and Hit F5 to refresh and try the
deletion or whatever task you want to accomplish!.
Or try the Auoruns from here:
http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/SystemInformation/Autoruns.mspx
