I get "Error 1402. Could not open key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersi
on\Run. Verify that you have sufficient acces to that
key, or contact your support personnel." I am logged into
Windows XP Home SP1 as Administrator. The error occurres
at the end of the installation process. Other programs
such as AGV Antivirus and SpyBot S&D install just fine.

Maybe you are running some 3rd-party protection software which protects
these Registry entries from being updated.

Shut-down all anti-viral, anti-spyware, anti-malware, anti-popup software,
and try the installation again.

Hi Robin,

I have shutdown everything that is not critical to
Windows. There are no AV AS applications running. I went
through and shutdown any services (Norton Antivirus) and
any processes that Windows doesn't require. I still get
the error.
