Many applications may package files in a data1.cab (or similar) archive
file. The "data1.cab" is meaningless without specifing the application
or at least a location on disk for the presumably damaged file.

Perhaps that "Error 1335" will be meaningful to some reader here.

How do I reinstall this file that is corrupt
--

The few times I have seen this error was when trying to install a program and the it was due to not being able to read the
install media properly. Either using a different CD ROM or creating an install point on the network worked around it in these
cases. The final solution was replacing the current CD ROM, its drivers or the drivers for the controller it was connected to.
