Windows XP Error 1327.Invalid Drive J:\

Hi there,

When trying to install programs from a cd I get the following message "Error 1327.Invalid Drive J:\"

I am running windows xp home.

And the installatino stops.

My hard drive is partioned, would that make any difference?

Has anyone got an idea of what may be causing this?

Have you had a look at the Microsoft site at the Knowledge Base area for more info? Or googled it???
I just googled your problem & looked at the KB at the main MS site, may be worth looking their:thumb:

hi, im a bit of a novice at this kind of thing, could you give me the link please, ive had another look but can't seem to find anything.

Go to www.microsoft.com in the top right hand corner type in Error 1327.Invalid Drive and click search:thumb:
