Error 1317

I am trying to load an update for Adobe Professional 6.0. Everytime I
attempt to load, I receive the following message: "Error 1317. An error
occurred while attempting to create the directory C:\Documents and
Settings\All Users\Documents\Adobe PDF 6.0." When I go to My Computer and
try to open the folder C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents, I am
denied access. I made the mistake of uninstalling Adobe Professional 6.0
thinking it was a problem with that program, but I get the same error message
(and now I don't have access to 6.0). Any thoughts on what the problem is?

To resolve this problem, ensure that you have the necessary permissions on your hard disk or disks.
To do this, follow these steps.

1. In Windows Explorer, select the folder.
2. Right-click the folder, and then click Properties on the shortcut menu.
3. On the Security tab, click Permissions.
4. Select the Everyone group, and then click Full Control in the Type of Access list.
5. Select the Replace Permissions on Subdirectories check box.
6. Click OK.
7. Click Yes to the prompt confirming whether you want to replace permissions on all subdirectories.
8. Click OK in the folder name Properties dialog box (where folder name is the name of the folder that you selected in step 1).
9. Run Adobe Setup.

Thanks for the response. I must be doing something wrong. When I
right-click on the Documents folder and click Properties on the shortcut
menu, I only get two tabs - General and Sharing. A Security tab does not
come up. Am I screwing up or not following the proper procedure?
