Need some help.

I installed Grokster today for about ten minutes. I looked at it, then
uninstalled it, and ran Ad-Aware with the latest database of programs.

Once I was through, I rebooted, and now I get two errors consistently
1) Cannot create input socket, error 10106: unknown error code
2) My spam inspector keeps saying it cannot initialize because Port 110
is in use.

Ran Norton 2002, and it doesn't find anything.

I went to the Spam Inspector website, and they gave instructions on how to
see what program was using port 110, but none appeared to be.

Anything easy can be done for this, or do I just need to redo the drive and
get rid of all the junk?

Thanks!

My grandson came over last week and he downloaded Grokster to my computer. I
ran into the same problems as you did. Nothing worked right on my computer.
After all the yelling and the screaming about d/ling crap to my new computer
I tried everything. I called up my computer support and they walked me
through everything they could think of. No help. I finally had to
re-install XP and all my data.
