Error 101

After formatting HDD ..I loaded XP and Office 2003 then
installed Beta MS Anti Spyware received error 101. How do
I get rid of this critical error?
 
Hi,

Can you try the following steps and reply back if it takes care of the
problem?

Open up control panel and double-click on add/remove programs.
Select Microsoft AntiSpyware
Select "Change"
On the Microsoft AntiSpyware Maintenance Wizard, click next.
On the next screen (Microsoft AntiSpyware Maintenance Wizard) select Update
Microsoft AntiSpyware and click next.
Select Install
Let the product update.
Click Finish.

I also have this problem and the error re-appear , does
not matter how many time you install or download even if
the virus software is disabled ?

I also have tried this and I was able to update the
software but still got the critiacl error 101...
