As I was bored tonight I decided to install on 2003 Web Edition.

Downloaded started to install and I get error 101 .

Changed the IE Zone setting from custom to default

Rerun the setup, it asked me if I want to re-install or uninstall

Chose re-install

Product installed

Very interesting. Can you, in fact, run it without getting error 101? I
can't see what mechanism would make that cause and effect, so I'm skeptical
about whether it was. Second time the charm?

It had the high security option set, so maybe that was causing the problem
or maybe 2nd time around I was lucky.

Just done a manual scan without error apart from it reports possible browser
hijacker www.internet-here.com . Not sure why it is saying this I will set
it to ignore always.

Scanned 29 memory, 18617 files, 8679 registry, took 4 mins 54 secs {Cel 1.2
MHz system}

My browser was already set at the default setting and I
get the same error even after installing it a second
time. Maybe it will take more re-tries.

Are you logged in as an administrator? Does it work if you choose a
non-default location such as c:\msas ?
