Has anyone found a solution for this? The program works
fine under one user. On all of the other users on the
computer, it will not run at all. The program times out
and eventually give a Error 101 message. I have tried
all of the "fixes" in earlier dialog - update -
reinstall - run gcasDtServ.exe. Nothing at all works for
any users other than one. Does anyone know of what this
issue might be? Please help! This is driving me crazy.

Try to run this command:
1.- Start / Run / cmd / OK
2.- C:\Program Files\Microsoft AntiSpyware\gcasDtServ.exe -
Embedding

Then run Antispyware.

Regards.

Thank you!!! It worked!!!

The command worked, but when I reboot the computer the
error is there again.
Other suggestion?
Thanks

Have you also tried control panel, add or remove programs, Microsoft
antispyware, change, update?

I don't have a sure-fire fix for this one. It appears to be related to
permissions, so being certain that you are an administrator on the machine
is the most basic advice, followed by doing the update, and if that fails,
an uninstall/reinstall. Some have reported that installing in a
non-standard directory, such as c:\msas has worked for them.
