I first encountered this error after messing around with
the services on my XP machine. I was able to eliminate it
by doing this...

First, go to Start -> Run and then type Services.msc and
press Enter.
Then right click on the entry DCOM Server Process
Launcher and select Properties.
Open up the Startup Type selection box and select
Automatic.
Now reboot the computer and run the program. Hopefully
you shouldn't get an error message anymore.

Apparently Microsoft Antispyware requires this service to
be running in order to execute.

Hello Mark,

I did not make changes in services, automatic is default!
