Error 101 Program does not start

I installed the program without any problems, but when I
tried to start it a message came up "Microsoft AntiSpyware
encountered a critical error (Error 101)" and the
suggestion to delete and reinstall the program, which I
did, but no dice, same message. Has anyone had this
problem and solved it?
 
There is no guranteed work around for this problem, even solution in Release
Notes. I guess just have to wait until beta 2 to see a fix, although Gerry
suggested a work around that is not guranteed to work on all computers.

Locate gcasDtServ.exe and double click. Add a shortcut gcasDtServ.exe to
your Desktop. Oddly when you double click the shortcut it doesn't start
MSAS but places an icon in the Notification Area of the Taskbar. Double
click on that and MSAS starts.
