Help Please with the following error

Error 1000 USERENV

RegLoadKey failed. Return value The system has attempted
to load or restore a file into the registry, but the
specified file is not in a registry file format. for
C:\Documents and Settings\Warren\ntuser.dat.

Windows cannot load the locally stored profile. Contact
your network administrator.

DETAIL - The system has attempted to load or restore a
file into the registry, but the specified file is not in a
registry file format.

Windows cannot unload your registry file. If you have a
roaming profile, your settings are not replicated. Contact
your administrator.

DETAIL - The parameter is incorrect. , Build number
((2195)).

Sounds like your accounts HKCU (ntuser.dat) file is indeed corrupted.
Suggest you replace it from backup using another (admin) logon
account.

while logging to the windows 2000 professional machine with an user Profile to any machine, the above errors repeats all the time
Please, provide valid solutiions
