Error 0xC00D1197: Cannot play the file

Is there a known solution for this? I searched EVERYWHERE and all I found
were a lot of people with the problem, but no solutions. ANYONE? Thanks.

CDs won't play in ANY media player (WMP, Winamp, MM).

If I try to get file info for track 1 from WMP, I get "wmpcd://0/1" which
matches correctly to the device/file settings.

If I try to get file info for track 1 from Winamp, nothing happens.

This is incredibly frustrating, and it was working just before I put in this
copy-protected CD.

I have a second CD drive which also doesn't work.

Data reads fine.

Re-install WinAmp - version 2.9
